Team Eyespace envisions a wearable tethered to a user’s mobile phone that provides them with information about the environment around them, allowing them to be more independent.

With the advent of technology,
we are looking at a future where we can make visually impaired people truly independent
by enabling navigation, obstacle and terrain detection
using small devices that can be easily body-mounted.
We hope to empower the visually impaired to achieve more!
How it works?
September 2018
Defining the problem statement. Ideation and creating an outline of the solution. Founding of startup.
November 2018
Building the prototype. Further technical development in computer vision and the web app.
December 2018
Initial prototype development finished with working web app and computer vision algorithm.
February 2019
A ready MVP. Alpha Testing while starting implementing marketing activities to get the word out to understand product-market fit.
April 2019
Patent for technology and product idea. Beta Testing with a hardware prototype. Recruit people for product development and marketing.
June 2019
Further development of web app and camera. Collaborate with potential organizations to partner and implement/test the product.
